The lift lowers to 2.9" from the bottom of the tub, then the back support reclines 35 degrees.  To return to the top, the back comes to the upright position and then the lift rises to the top of the tub.

The Chair-Lift operates with a push button hand control.  An intelligent safety system checks the power levels before every use.  The control will not allow you to lower your bath lift unless there is sufficient power to raise it again.  An illuminated symbol will remind you when it’s time to recharge the hand control.
